Introduce
The cross thrust rod integrates the functions of the previously separate V thrust rod and the lateral stabilizer rod, and meets all requirements such as anti-roll stability. Control of the axle is ensured even under extreme driving conditions, the ground clearance is significantly improved compared to previous systems, and the weight of the system is reduced by an average of 20 kg. In addition, the new thrust rod improves the overall performance range of the chassis for safety. For commercial vehicle manufacturers, the cross thrust rod has a further advantage, as it facilitates standardization of new axle variants. The integration of the cross thrust rod into the bottom plate reduces the number of parts and therefore the associated tooling and development costs. The integration of functions also reduces the cost of assembly.
